Red Squirrel Necklace

This gorgeous statement red squirrel necklace is handmade from copper and sterling silver. He is hand drawn then hand pierced (sawn) from copper and holding a little silver nut. The branch is hammered, to create texture, from sterling silver and hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver chain. The chain is soldered directly onto the branch so there are so ugly rings to spoil the flow of the design.
The copper is lacquered to help retain its lovely orange colour.
